Job Title:
Assembly Technician Job Description Join our team as an Assembly Technician responsible for mechanical and electrical assembly of small power drives. Your role will involve working with small hand and power tools to assemble products in accordance with engineering documents. Responsibilities Perform mechanical and electrical assembly of small power drives. Utilize small hand and power tools for assembly tasks. Follow engineering documents to accurately assemble products. Operate a computer to update the manufacturing status of jobs. Continually monitor the quality of parts used in the assembly process. Complete and maintain all required paperwork. Essential Skills Proficiency in assembly and the use of hand tools. Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints. Experience in mechanical and electrical assembly. Additional Skills & Qualifications At least 1 year of experience in mechanical or electrical assembly. Possession of a GED or high school diploma. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment includes first shift hours from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm and second shift hours from 2:45 pm to 11:15 pm. The facility is very clean and tasks involve small part assembly with no heavy lifting required. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Berlin, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
