Job Title:
Assembler Job Description Join a leading company that builds and programs robotics for various manufacturing applications. As an assembler, you will play a crucial role in constructing and maintaining robotic production equipment. Responsibilities Perform mechanical and electrical assembly of robotic production equipment and the cells and apparatus they will be housed within. Construct mechanical assemblies such as cages to encase robots. Conduct electrical assembly tasks including wiring while adhering to safety protocols. Utilize drawings and blueprints to guide all assembly processes. Operate hand and pneumatic power tools effectively. Lift equipment weighing approximately 50 pounds, with team assistance for heavier items. Engage in motor testing and non-live wiring tasks. Adapt to a dynamic work environment with a significant learning curve of about 6 months. Essential Skills Proficiency in using hand and power tools. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings. Background in mechanical or electrical assembly. Experience in building machines, infrastructure, or other mechanical systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications Mechanical Background such as mechanics, machine building, or home remodeling. Willingness to read blueprints/work prints throughout the shift. Adaptability to a varying daily work routine. Possession of an associate's degree in automation is a plus. Why Work Here? Work Environment The role is based in a large, open, well-lit, and climate-controlled workshop. The work schedule is a first shift from Monday to Friday with early morning start times, offering a structured yet supportive environment for growth. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Miamisburg, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
