- Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for assembling precision electronic components and systems with a high degree of accuracy and quality.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assemble precision electronic components and subassemblies according to detailed work instructions and blueprints. Assemble and solder circuit card assemblies (CCAs) ensuring the highest quality standards. Inspect and test assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. Set up and monitor production in your work area to ensure safe and efficient operations. Participate in continuous improvement processes addressing safety, production, and quality improvements. Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to resolve assembly issues and implement process improvements. Maintain accurate documentation of assembly processes and test results. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. QualificationsYOU MUST HAVE
Must pass vision test; cannot be color blind. High School Diploma or GED. 2+ years soldering experience; will be working with small parts. Experience in assembling precision electronic components in a manufacturing environment, preferably in aerospace or a related industry. Strong knowledge of electronic assembly techniques, soldering, wiring, and use of hand and power tools. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions accurately. Familiarity with quality control processes and inspection methods to ensure product compliance. Proficiency with electronic testing equipment and basic troubleshooting skills. Willingness and ability to complete formal J-Std solder training; someone who has been through J Standard solder training is a plus. Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures of CCA build. Basic computer skills needed; experience with SAP, Microsoft Office, Team Center a plus. Candidates will need to work under a microscope.WE VALUE
