Job summary The Control Panel Builder I is responsible for assembling cable and wire harnesses with 2-4 years of hands-on experience. The role involves working with small terminals, crimping tools, soldering, and reading technical drawings, with a focus on precision and quality in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Assemble cable and wire harnesses according to engineering drawings and work instructions

Crimp small terminals and contacts using manual and automated crimping tools

Perform soldering operations in accordance with industry standards

Measure and cut wires to exact specified lengths using precision measuring tools

Work under microscope when required for fine-detail assembly

Perform continuity checks and basic electrical testing

Assemble small motors, connectors, and related components

Follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) control procedures and handle sensitive components in ESD-controlled environments

Inspect finished assemblies for quality and compliance

Follow

workmanship standards

Maintain compliance with

ISO 9001

quality management procedures

Work efficiently on repetitive tasks while maintaining high accuracy

Collaborate effectively with team members and production staff Qualifications 2-3 years of experience in cable/wire harness assembly

Experience crimping small terminals and contacts

Experience using crimp tools (manual and/or pneumatic)

Proficiency in soldering

Experience working in an ESD-controlled environment

Knowledge of ESD handling procedures and use of ESD protective equipment

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics

Experience measuring with precision tools (rulers, calipers, wire measuring devices)

Ability to cut wire to exact specified lengths

Experience performing continuity checks

Good hand-to-eye coordination

Ability to read and write English

Ability to work in a team-oriented environment

Ability to work under repetitive production conditions Preferred Qualifications

IPC/WHMA-A-620

Aerospace industry experience

Experience working under
