Job Description
Position Summary
The Electrical Mechanical Assembler II is responsible for the assembly, integration, testing, and inspection of complex electro-mechanical products and subassemblies used in aerospace and defense applications. This role requires the ability to work from engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, assembly instructions, and specifications while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements. The Assembler II performs moderately complex assembly operations with limited supervision and supports continuous improvement initiatives to meet production objectives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assemble electro-mechanical components, cables, harnesses, connectors, chassis, and subassemblies according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and specifications.
Perform mechanical assembly tasks including fastening, torqueing, bonding, crimping, soldering, and wire routing.
Conduct continuity tests, measurements, and functional testing using test equipment.
Verify assembly accuracy and identify defects or nonconformances.
Complete production documentation and quality records.
