5:30 AM - 2:00 PM Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Electromechanical Assembler II to perform precision electronic and electromechanical assembly and subassembly work in a production environment. This position is responsible for assembling small, intricate components and assemblies while following established work instructions, drawings, quality standards, and production procedures. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of related electronics or electromechanical assembly experience with hands-on experience in soldering, PCB and cable harness assembly, microscope work, ESD controls, mechanical assembly, bonding, epoxy processes, and electronic testing. Key Responsibilities Perform electronic and electromechanical assembly and subassembly operations in a production environment. Work under a microscope for extended periods while assembling and inspecting small, precision components. Handle small parts, including piezoelectric crystals and other delicate electronic components. Perform intermediate-level PCB assembly and cable harness assembly. Perform mechanical assembly of small parts and precision components. Read and follow basic blueprints, drawings, schematics, work instructions, and established procedures. Perform soldering and related electronic assembly operations. Perform epoxy mixing, bonding, potting, and other specialized assembly processes. Perform high-voltage potting and high-voltage testing. Follow established ESD controls and procedures when handling electronic components and assemblies. Perform resistance welding and other specialized manufacturing processes as required. Operate winding and braiding machinery. Use torque wrenches, digital multimeters, soldering irons, cutters, wire strippers, crimpers, heat guns, and common hand tools. Operate high-voltage testing equipment, including equipment capable of testing up to 12 kV. Perform assembly, inspection, packaging, and handling of completed components and assemblies. Properly handle classified or controlled assemblies in accordance with established procedures. Enter and update work orders, timecards, and special-process documentation using basic computer systems. Work with Quality, Production Control, Engineering, and other departments to address production issues and maintain workflow. Communicate work progress, production issues, and schedule concerns effectively. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all applicable safety, quality, production, and documentation requirements. Work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Perform other related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED. 3+ years of related electronics assembly or electromechanical assembly experience. Hands-on experience with electronic and electromechanical assembly. Experience working with small, precision components. Experience working under a microscope for extended periods. Soldering experience. Knowledge of ESD controls and procedures. Experience with PCB assembly and cable harness assembly. Ability to read and follow basic blueprints, drawings, and work instructions. Experience using digital multimeters and common hand tools. Ability to follow standardized procedures and make routine decisions within established guidelines. Basic computer skills for accessing work orders, entering time, and documenting production activities. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards in repetitive production work. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a cross-functional team. Pay:
$22.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
