In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electronic components and systems with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of high-quality electro-mechanical products, ensuring they meet strict specifications and industry standards. Duties Assemble electronic devices and components using surface mount technology (SMT) and through-hole techniques, following detailed blueprints and schematics. Read electrical schematics and blueprints accurately to guide assembly processes and ensure correct wiring and component placement. Use hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and electro-mechanical assembly tools to build electrical panels, wiring harnesses, and complete assemblies. Interpret technical drawings, IPC 610 standards (industry quality standards for electronic assemblies), and engineering troubleshooting documents to maintain quality control. Conduct testing of assembled units using ohmmeters, multimeters, and other electrical testing devices to verify functionality and troubleshoot issues. Follow blueprint specifications meticulously during assembly, wiring, soldering, and inspection processes to meet manufacturing quality standards. Assist in the assembly of mechanical components when required, ensuring proper integration with electrical systems for seamless electro-mechanical operation. Skills Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams with clarity and confidence. Strong knowledge of PCB (Printed Circuit Board) assembly techniques including surface mount technology (SMT) and through-hole soldering. Experience with electrical wiring, schematic interpretation, electrical panel building, and schematic troubleshooting. Skilled in the use of hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, soldering irons, as well as power tools necessary for assembly tasks. Familiarity with IPC 610 standards for electronic assemblies to ensure compliance with industry quality benchmarks. Ability to perform mechanical assembly tasks alongside electrical work when needed; understanding of machining processes is a plus.
