Job Description

Pay:
$25.00-$29.00 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:30 PM (30 min lunch usually at 12:30pm)
Location:
Irvine, CA Job Summary Onsite Personnel is seeking an experienced RMA Rework Technician for a client in Irvine, CA. The technician will perform electronic repair, soldering, rework, maintenance, and testing of electrical systems, circuit boards, and electronic components. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with SMT/SMD soldering, through-hole soldering, PCB rework, and electronic component repair and is comfortable working with small electronic components and following technical drawings and work instructions. Responsibilities Perform SMD and SMT soldering/rework Perform through-hole soldering Use heat guns and rework equipment to install or remove chips, resistors, inductors, SMDs, and other electronic components Repair and rework electronic components and PCB assemblies Use measuring and diagnostic tools to test electronic parts and completed repairs Verify repaired components meet required specifications and quality standards Read and follow technical drawings, diagrams, specifications, and work instructions Perform additional component soldering as needed; training may be provided for certain tasks Assist the RMA department with assembly, packing, and shipping when needed The original description specifically includes heat-gun removal/installation of chips, resistors, inductors and SMD components, plus RMA shipping, packing and assembly support. Qualifications 2-3 years of soldering and/or electronic repair experience preferred Experience with SMT/SMD and/or through-hole soldering Experience working with PCBs and electronic components Must be able to understand and communicate in English Must be able to read and follow technical drawings/diagrams Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work independently High school diploma or equivalent Must be comfortable performing a hands-on soldering test during the interview Apply Qualified candidates are encouraged to submit a resume to: Aaron Nguyen - Onsite Personnel Group, Inc.
