Circuit Board Technician (PCB Assembler) Company Overview We are a growing electronics manufacturing and IT solutions provider specializing in high-quality printed circuit board (PCB) assembly, cable assemblies, and integrated technology solutions. We support a wide range of industries by delivering reliable, precision-built electronic components and systems. Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Circuit Board Technician to support PCB assembly and production operations. This role is responsible for assembling, soldering, inspecting, and testing circuit boards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is hands-on, quality-focused, and comfortable working with small components and technical specifications. Key Responsibilities Assemble printed circuit boards (PCBs) using both through-hole and surface mount (SMT) techniques. Perform hand soldering of electronic components with a high level of precision. Read and interpret schematics, bills of materials (BOMs), and work instructions . Inspect assemblies for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards. Conduct functional testing and basic troubleshooting of PCB assemblies. Rework and repair boards as needed to meet production requirements. Follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) safety procedures at all times. Accurately complete production documentation, including job travelers and inspection logs. Work closely with engineering and quality teams to resolve assembly or design issues. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation (5S standards). Qualifications 1-3 years of experience in PCB assembly or electronics manufacturing preferred. Strong soldering skills (SMT and/or through-hole required). Ability to read and follow technical documents and assembly instructions. High attention to detail and ability to work with small components. Basic computer skills for tracking production and documentation. High school diploma or equivalent required; electronics training or certification preferred. Preferred Qualifications IPC Certification ( IPC-A-610 and/orJ-STD-001
) Experience in contract manufacturing or IT hardware production Familiarity with cable assembly or box build processes Work Environment & Physical Requirements Manufacturing environment with exposure to electronic components and tools. Ability to sit or stand for extended periods during assembly tasks. Frequent use of fine motor skills for soldering and component placement.
