Job Description
Electrical Panel Builder SE Portland $22 to $28 / hr. Day Shift, 6:45am-3:15pm
Responsibilities:
Build and wire industrial control panels according to engineering drawings and electrical schematics Perform point-to-point wiring, wire cutting, stripping, crimping, labeling, and termination. Assemble electrical and mechanical components into control panels and enclosures. Install relays, terminal blocks, switches, breakers, power supplies, and other control components. Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings. Perform continuity checks and basic electrical testing to verify proper assembly. Route, organize, and secure wiring to company quality standards. Use hand tools, power tools, torque tools, and electrical testing equipment safely and effectively. Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve assembly issues.Qualifications:
Experience with electrical assembly, panel wiring, industrial wiring, or a related electrical trade. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints. Experience using hand tools and power tools. Understanding of wire stripping, crimping, terminals, and electrical connections. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Environment /Shift:
Fabrication shop environment Day shift: 6:45am-3:15pm Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, OR. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
