Job Description:

Electrical & Avionics Technician Kennedy Space Center, FL $26.43-$37.01/Hour Abilty to Obtain a Secret Clearance Performs soldering, wire harness fabrication, avionics assembly, and electrical system installation in support of aerospace hardware and test articles in regulated manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities:

Perform soldering on electronic and avionics assemblies Fabricate, assemble, route, install, and terminate wire harnesses and electrical wiring systems Install and troubleshoot electrical circuits and avionics components Prepare and support test articles, fixtures, instrumentation, and data collection devices organic coatings for corrosion protection and appearance requirements Work from engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications to assemble complex systems

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED 1+ year of electrical, avionics, or wire harness assembly experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience) Experience with soldering electronic components and avionics products Experience installing, routing, terminating, and troubleshooting electrical wiring and harness systems Ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience supporting a NASA program Experience in a clean room manufacturing environment Manufacturing experience supporting human spaceflight, spaceflight, or aircraft hardware programs Experience inspecting, fabricating, repairing, and modifying electrical harnesses and associated components Moseley Technical Services, Inc. is an AA/EEO/Veterans/Disabled Employer.
