Full-Time We are seeking an experienced PCB Assembly Technician to operate and support a small in-house PCB assembly operation. Primary Responsibilities Set up and operate SMT assembly equipment, including solder paste printer, pick-and-place machine, reflow oven, and related equipment. Perform machine setup, component loading, feeder setup, and changeovers for different PCB assemblies. Assemble small-to-medium production runs and engineering prototypes. Perform through-hole assembly, hand soldering, rework, and component replacement as required. Inspect assembled PCBs using microscopes and other inspection equipment. Troubleshoot assembly defects and make basic process adjustments. Maintain equipment and keep the PCB assembly area organized and production-ready. Manage component preparation, PCB handling, ESD controls, and basic production documentation. Work closely with engineering on new product introductions, prototypes, and process improvements.
Qualifications:
3+ years of hands-on experience in SMT/PCB assembly manufacturing preferred. Experience operating pick-and-place, stencil printing, and reflow equipment. Strong soldering and PCB rework skills. Ability to read assembly drawings, BOMs, and work instructions. Familiarity with IPC workmanship standards preferred. Comfortable working independently and taking responsibility for the day-to-day operation of a small PCB assembly line.
