Electrical Assembler

Job Summary The Electrical Assembler will build, wire, and assemble control panels and skid-mounted electrical systems. This role involves interpreting electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams to produce high-quality, reliable assemblies that meet industry and customer specifications. Key Responsibilities Assemble and wire electrical control panels, junction boxes, and skid-mounted systems. Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layout drawings Install components such as breakers, relays, PLCs, terminal blocks, power supplies, and instrumentation devices Perform point-to-point wiring, cable routing, labeling, and termination according to standards Verify work against drawings, BOMs (Bills of Materials), and quality checklists Conduct basic electrical testing and continuity checks on completed assemblies Ensure compliance with UL, NEC, and company quality and safety standards Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to resolve build or design issues Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas Support skid integration work including interconnecting wiring between panels and field devices Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of experience in electrical assembly, panel wiring, or industrial electrical work Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams Experience with control panels, industrial automation, or power generation systems preferred Familiarity with PLC-based control systems a plus Strong understanding of electrical safety practices Skills & Competencies Attention to detail and high-quality workmanship Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude Strong organizational and time management skills Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally Standing, bending, and working in manufacturing/shop environments for extended periods Use of hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment Work Environment Manufacturing/shop floor environment (climate controlled) With over 90 years' combined experience, NES Fircroft (NES) is proud to be the world's leading engineering staffing provider spanning the Oil & Gas, Power & Renewables, Chemicals, Construction & Infrastructure, Life Sciences, Mining and Manufacturing sectors worldwide.
