Technology, Software, IT, Electronics Description Description SAIC has an opportunity for an entry-level System Integration Technician. In this role you will primarily assist with basic assembly, fabrication, and system support tasks while learning new skills on the job. Training and Mentor-ship will be provided to ensure candidates grow and advance in this role. Work will be on site in Panama City Beach, FL. Occasional travel may be required
Responsibilities:
Assist with the fabrication and assembly of components using basic hand and power tools Perform basic tasks such as wiring, soldering, and packaging under the guidance of experienced team members Learn and adhere to quality standards for assembly and fabrication Support installation of systems and modifications, both in the workshop and at field locations. Read and follow technical instructions, such as mechanical and electrical drawings Maintain a clean and safe work environment Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent No prior experience required; training will be provided 1-2 years' experience is a plus, but not required Ability to learn and follow technical instructions Basic knowledge of hand and power tools (formal training or practical experience is a plus) Strong work ethic and eagerness to develop new skills Dependable team player who can follow instructions and work with minimal supervision once trained Willingness to travel intermittently to support fieldwork
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT
US Citizenship required Must possess or have the ability to obtain an Interim Secret clearance and maintain a Secret clearance .
