Job Description

- SAIC has an opportunity for an
- entry-level System Integration Technician.
- In this role you will primarily assist with basic assembly, fabrication, and system support tasks while learning new skills on the job. Training and Mentor-ship will be provided to ensure candidates grow and advance in this role.
- Work will be on site in Panama City Beach, FL. Occasional travel may be required
Responsibilities:
+ Assist with the fabrication and assembly of components using basic hand and power tools + Perform basic tasks such as wiring, soldering, and packaging under the guidance of experienced team members + Learn and adhere to quality standards for assembly and fabrication + Support installation of systems and modifications, both in the workshop and at field locations. + Read and follow technical instructions, such as mechanical and electrical drawings + Maintain a clean and safe work environment- Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- + High School Diploma or equivalent + No prior experience required; training will be provided + 1-2 years' experience is a plus, but not required + Ability to learn and follow technical instructions + Basic knowledge of hand and power tools (formal training or practical experience is a plus) + Strong work ethic and eagerness to develop new skills + Dependable team player who can follow instructions and work with minimal supervision once trained + Willingness to travel intermittently to support fieldwork •
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT
- + US Citizenship required + Must possess or have the ability to obtain an Interim Secret clearance and maintain a Secret clearance .
