JOB TITLE
Wire Assembly Operator
DEPARTMENT

REPORTS TO
Production Supervisor SUMMARY:
Responsible for wiring electrical equipment. Use instructions and wiring diagrams to aid in wiring panels
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports Accurately follow layout dimensioning and specifications when applicable Physical mounting of components with appropriate hardware Assemble and wire electrical components according to provided point-to-point wiring diagram Neatly routing and bundling wires/cables Use hand tools to crimp, cut and strip wires Complete other duties, as assigned by the supervisor
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or 1-3 years wiring experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience Must be able to work with minimal supervision, be proactive and possess strong communication skills both written and verbal Must be able to work well in a team environment Must be able to read, write and follow instructions Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills Excellent time management and organizational skills
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Continually required to stand, walk, squat, bend, read, talk and hear Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity Required to climb ladder or step stool
Pay:
$17.50 per hour
