Job Description
SUMMARY
Integrates tower products such as multi-section telescoping towers, trailers, shelters, control cabinets, generators, and other accessories, completely by working on bench tops or floor by performing the following duties:
Positions parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or following blueprints.
Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners.
Removes small quantities of metal with hand files and scrapers to produce close fit between parts.
Operates hand drills, drill presses, hand grinders, band saw, and air tools to assist in assembly operation.
Installs parts such as mounts, brackets, control cables, motors, electrical components, and accessory items and works them to assure free movement.
Conducts or assists in conducting final acceptance tests of the complete product.
Other duties may be assigned.
