Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dependable Electrical/Mechanical Assembly & Controls Technician to assemble, build electrical panels, wire, install, test, and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical components. Your expertise will contribute to the production of high-quality electro-mechanical products, ensuring they meet strict industry standards and customer specifications. We are smaller company that is growing larger and looking for an individual interested in a long term career. We will do some on the job taining. Responsibilities Build electrical panels, wiring harnesses, and electro-mechanical assemblies following blueprint and schematic instructions. Solder surface-mount devices (SMD) and through-hole components with precision, adhering to IPC 610 standards for quality assurance. Use testing equipment such as ohmmeters, multimeters, and other diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electrical circuits and verify proper operation. Maintain a clean, organized work area while following safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment at all times. Experience Proven experience in electronics assembly, including PCB (Printed Circuit Board) assembly and wiring of electro-mechanical components. Familiarity with reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and schematics for accurate component placement and wiring. Hands-on experience with, and electrical wiring practices. Knowledge of manufacturing processes related to electrical panel building, mechanical assembly, and machining is preferred. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, test equipment such as ohmmeters, and follow blueprint specifications diligently. Strong troubleshooting skills combined with engineering problem-solving abilities for complex electronic or electro-mechanical assemblies.
Pay:
$22.00 - $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
