09/12/2026 Job Description Job Description The Electrical Switchgear Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling, wiring, and inspecting electrical switchgear and control panels according to engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and company quality standards. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety procedures, and the ability to work efficiently in a manufacturing environment to meet production schedules.Duties:
Assemble electrical switchgear, control panels, and enclosures according to engineering drawings and schematics Install and wire electrical components including breakers, relays, transformers, bus bars, terminal blocks, and control devices Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and bill of materials (BOMs) Perform point-to-point wiring, torque connections to specifications, and ensure proper labeling Conduct visual inspections and basic electrical checks to ensure quality and compliance Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices safely and correctly Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow all safety policies, including lockout/tagout and PPE requirements Report material shortages, defects, or quality concerns to supervision Work collaboratively with engineering, quality, and other assembly team members Meet production goals while maintaining quality standards Experience with torque tools and electrical testing equipment Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without assistance Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with noise, tools, and equipment Work Environment Manufacturing and assembly floor environment Exposure to electrical components, machinery, and hand tools PPE requiredMUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING BASIC TOOLS TO QUALIFY FOR THIS POSITION.
Tape Measure Screw Drivers, flat head and phillips head Basic Socket Set Basic Wrench Set 1/4" to 7/8" needed Level - small Impact Drill Pay dependent on experience and will be discussed during the interview process.Benefits
