About Us SchmalzTech, LLC is an electronics company in Muscatine, Iowa. We design and build circuit board products - breakout boards, adapters, and prototyping accessories - that ship to engineers and hobbyists all over the world. We are looking for a part-time Assembly Technician to help build our products. Job Duties Assemble electronic products, including through-hole soldering by hand and with automated robotic soldering Place components and perform final product assembly Inspect finished circuit boards for solder quality and workmanship Rework and repair boards that do not pass inspection Assist with related production tasks such as kitting parts, labeling, and packaging Qualifications No experience required - we will train you on our processes and equipment Prior soldering experience (class labs, previous work, or personal projects) is a plus Strong attention to detail and comfort with careful, repetitive, hands-on work Reliable and willing to learn Pay and Schedule $14-$17 per hour, depending on experience 10-20 hours per week Flexible scheduling On-site at our shop in Muscatine, IA If this sounds like it might be a good fit for you, apply today!
