Work in manufacturing facility with in-house machine shop. Skilled assembler, with fabrication training, to assemble custom designed Ultraviolet Processors and Infra-Red Drying Systems at our Carol Stream, IL facility. We are seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler, with leadership skills. to become an integral part of our team and contribute to improving our operating efficiency and performance.
Responsibilities:
Work with production personnel and mechanical & electrical engineers. Rotate through tasks for specific production processes. Accurate and precise with power tools and hand tools. Conduct quality inspections on products and parts. Responsible for work produced, high quality production. Prepare finished products for shipment. Maintain a clean and orderly work area Perform building preventative maintenance as needed.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or other related fields. Familiarity with assembly tools and equipment. Knowledge of basic electrical testing equipment. Ability to handle physical workload. Must be able to read and interpret blue prints, do layout work, and secondary machining operations, drilling, tapping and deburring. Inspect machined parts using precision instruments such as micrometers, calipers. Read schematics. Maintain clean and organized assembly area. Assist with special projects and perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements /
Qualifications Education Preferred:
High School Degree or GED. Reading of Mechanical Drawings a must. CAD experience beneficial but not necessary. Reading Electrical Schematics a must.
Experience Required:
Problem solving skills. Strong organizational skills. Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with mechanical tools. Strong understanding of Electrical Schematics. Good written and verbal communication skills. Sharp attention to detail. Creating wire harnesses. Document procedures. Provide own hand tools. Power & air tools provided by employer.
