Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as an Electrical Assembly Technician, where your expertise will drive the creation of high-quality electrical components and systems. In this role, you will be integral to assembling, wiring, and testing electro-mechanical assemblies with precision and care. Your hands-on skills and attention to detail will ensure our products meet rigorous standards and customer expectations. Responsibilities Assemble electrical components and electro-mechanical assemblies following detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints to accurately build electrical panels and assemblies. Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, soldering equipment, and surface mount technology (SMT) techniques to complete precise assembly tasks. Wire electrical panels, connect components using IPC 610 standards, and ensure proper grounding and insulation practices. Perform soldering on surface mount devices (SMD) and through-hole components with high accuracy. Conduct engineering troubleshooting on assemblies to identify issues related to wiring, schematics, or component failures. Utilize testing instruments such as ohmmeters to verify circuit continuity and resistance levels; document test results thoroughly. Follow manufacturing procedures, blueprint specifications, and safety protocols diligently during all phases of assembly. Skills Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings with confidence. Proficiency in electronics assembly including soldering SMD components, wiring electrical panels, and mechanical assembly of electro-mechanical parts. Experience working with PCB (Printed Circuit Boards), programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and surface mount technology (SMT). Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, calipers, ohmmeters, and other measurement devices essential for precise assembly work. Knowledge of IPC 610 standards for electronic assembly quality requirements. Mechanical knowledge related to machining processes and mechanical assembly techniques. Ability to troubleshoot engineering issues involving electro-mechanical components efficiently. Familiarity with electrical wiring practices, blueprint following procedures, and safety standards in manufacturing environments.
