Job Summary Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Forklift Operator and Warehouse Worker, where your energy and precision will drive our logistics operations forward! In this vital role, you will operate various types of heavy equipment—including forklifts, reach trucks, Hi-Lo, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and barcode scanners—to efficiently load, unload, and organize inventory. Your expertise in materials handling and warehouse management will ensure smooth distribution processes while maintaining the highest safety standards. Duties Safely operate forklift trucks, reach trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment in accordance with OSHA and company safety protocols. Load and unload shipments accurately using equipment such as order pickers and barcode scanners for logistics. Manage inventory by conducting regular stock counts, updating warehouse management systems (WMS), and ensuring proper storage of materials. Assist with order picking and packing to fulfill customer orders efficiently while maintaining accuracy. Perform routine equipment repairs or notify maintenance for malfunctioning machinery to minimize downtime. Support shipping & receiving operations by verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation. Follow manual handling procedures for heavy lifting tasks to prevent injuries and ensure compliance with safety standards in production. Skills Proven experience operating warehouse equipment including forklifts (reach trucks, Hi-Lo, clamp trucks), pallet jacks, and lift trucks. Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning technology for logistics tracking. Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes, inventory management techniques, and materials handling best practices. Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts, measurements, and shipment documentation. Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and manual handling. Excellent attention to detail for order picking, load & unload tasks, and barcode scanning accuracy. Prior experience in warehouse supervision or warehouse management roles is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for teamwork and safety is essential.
