• Job Title: Electronics Assembly Technician
• Job Description
• The Electronics Assembly Technician plays a key role in building and supporting advanced custom test equipment for a variety of industries, including automotive, aerospace, and defense.

You assemble and wire custom test systems ranging from bench-top electrical boxes to machine frames, rack-mount cabinets, and IT racks, ensuring all work meets engineering drawings, schematics, and customer specifications.

• Responsibilities

+ Assemble, wire, modify, and test electromechanical systems based on engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and customer specifications.

+ Build and support advanced custom test equipment, including prototype fixtures and rack-mounted test cabinets.

+ Perform electronic assembly of wires and connectors with a strong focus on accuracy and reliability.

+ Construct and route wire harnesses, ensuring proper labeling, organization, and secure connections.

+ Build and wire control panels using OEM crimp tooling and related hand tools.

+ Prepare wires through tinning and soldering, including work on printed circuit boards (PCB) when required.

+ Use diagnostic and test equipment such as digital multimeters (DMMs), oscilloscopes, and power supplies to perform functional testing and troubleshooting of electronic and electromechanical systems.

• Additional Skills & Qualifications
• + General soldering experience across a variety of electronic assemblies. + Ability to work a standard shift from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with some flexibility provided a consistent schedule is maintained. + Comfort working with blueprints and technical drawings. + Familiarity with printed circuit boards and wiring harness construction.

• Pay and Benefits
• The pay range for this position is $19.

00 - $25.00/hr.
