Job Description
Job Summary:
Under the direct supervision of the Production Manager, the Electronic Sub Assembler performs manual work pertaining to the manufacture of our company products. This employee is responsible for the sub assembly of our product by soldering components onto printed circuit boards.Job Functions:
Essential:
- Solders components onto printed circuit boards via hand or machine method.
- Reads manufacturing documentation such as blueprints, process sheets and assembly and schematic drawings,
- Receives verbal instructions regarding work assignment, and follows instructions.
- Examines parts for defects such as cuts, pinholes, or chips.
- Replaces defective components.
- Enters information on production records, logs or other report forms.
- Repairs defective units rejected by inspection or test personnel.
- Performs assembly at the sub-assembly level of various products.
- Cuts wires and builds wire harnesses.
- Operates mechanical pick-n-place machine, solder paste machine, automated pick-n-place machine, board washer, and oven.
- Performs self-inspection visually and with microscope.
- Cuts printed circuit boards and grinds edges.
Marginal:
- Applies conformal coating to printed circuit board assemblies as required
- Grinds plastic parts to properly fit product.
- Performs assembly at the final-assembly level of some products.
- Uses hand tools to perform final assembly of products.
- Performs other duties as deemed necessary or as required.
Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per weekBenefits:
