Assembler Job Description Join a growing manufacturing team as an Assembler. In this hands-on role, you will assist with the assembly, installation, and testing of mechanical and electrical components using hand and power tools. Ideal candidates have experience in assembly, manufacturing, production, or a strong mechanical aptitude and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and safety standards. Responsibilities Assemble mechanical and electrical components following work instructions, drawings, and specifications. Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment to complete assembly tasks. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and assembly instructions. Perform basic wiring, installation, and component integration as needed. Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met. Troubleshoot minor mechanical or electrical issues during the assembly process. Essential Skills Previous assembly, manufacturing, production, or related experience preferred. Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Mechanical or electrical assembly experience. Experience working on vehicles, engines, equipment, or machinery. Familiarity with wiring, installation, or troubleshooting. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and production environments. Work Environment The role is based in a clean, non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility in Olathe, Kansas. Standard hours are 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with optional Saturday shifts from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The environment involves regular use of hand and power tools, working around engines, machines, and generator sets, and following established safety procedures and assembly standards. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
