Job Summary

Keep Aircraft Mission-Ready — Join PDS Tech Commercial as an Overhaul Technician

Location:
Wichita, KS Payrate:

$20- $24hour

Schedule:

Monday to Friday. 7am to 4pm

About the Role

PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading aerospace organization to hire a skilled Overhaul Technician. In this role, you'll play a critical part in assembling and maintaining high-performance electromechanical components that keep aircraft operating safely and efficiently. Your attention to detail and craftsmanship will directly support mission readiness and product reliability in a high-stakes industry.

What You'll Do

Perform subassembly and final assembly of complex aerospace electromechanical components with precision and minimal supervision

Execute bench-level assembly processes using hand tools, measuring instruments, pneumatic tools, and soldering equipment

Complete electrical wiring tasks, including cutting, stripping, terminating, and installing bushings and bearings

Follow engineering drawings and work instructions to ensure accuracy and compliance

Document manufacturing steps and maintain accurate production records

Identify and report defective materials or questionable conditions to leadership

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company and regulatory standards

Meet production schedules and deadlines while maintaining high-quality workmanship

Support additional manufacturing or assembly tasks as needed

Required Qualifications

High school diploma, GED, or vocational degree

At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment (aviation or electrical assembly preferred)

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions

Basic shop math skills

Proficiency with hand tools and power equipment

Ability to obtain and maintain FAA Part 145 Repair Station requirements

Strong teamwork and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with aerospace or aviation electrical component assembly

Familiarity with electromechanical systems and precision assembly environments

Prior experience working in regulated or high-reliability industries

Pay Details:

$20.00 to $24.00 per hour
