    Electrical Mechanical Assembler
  • Job Description
  • We are seeking a skilled Electrical Mechanical Assembler to join our team and contribute to the development of prototype forklifts for our customer. The role involves performing all housing assemblies for robots, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the process.
  • Responsibilities
  • + Perform electro-mechanical assembly and testing of components on builds. + Work on robotics and be part of a small R D team. + Handle the assembly process and testing to ensure product functionality. + Utilize hand tools and follow detailed schematics for assembly tasks. + Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, or work orders.
  • Essential Skills
  • + Experience with mechanical assembly. + Proficiency with hand and power tools. + Strong mechanical aptitude. + Ability to read blueprints/schematics or work orders.
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • + Experience with mechanical, electrical, small components, and sub-assembly. + Prior experience in production environments.

  • Work Environment
  • The position is based in Waltham, MA, at a smaller startup company supporting the robotics industry. The role operates on a first shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. You will work in a collaborative team environment, focusing on research and development rather than mass manufacturing.
  • Job Type & Location
  • This is a Contract position based out of Waltham, MA.
  • Pay and Benefits
  • The pay range for this position is $25.
00 - $28.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
