Job Description

Electronics Assembler Our client is seeking an experience Electronics Assembler to join the team.
  • Perform assembly of electronic and mechanical parts and assembles according to specs and drawings
  • Set up and fabricate assemblies using automatic and semi-automatic hand and power tools
  • Assembly techniques include cable and harness fabrication and electro-mechanical assembly
  • Assemble and package different types of electronic components using production equipment
  • Prepare, solder, crimp, assemble and label parts
  • Wire harnesses and panel fabrication (wire gauges, various types of sheathing, misc. electronic components)
  • Perform tests and adjustments Job Requirements
  • Required Skills & Experience
  • HS Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of related manufacturing experience
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Ability to read and work from drawings and instructions
  • Ability to keep proper documentation
  • Ability to exert force between 25 and 50 lbs
  • Ability to use measuring instruments (rulers, calipers, micrometers, etc.)
  • Ability to set up and operate all fabrication equipment
  • Ability to use soldering irons, wire strippers/crimpers, heat guns
  • Soldering experience Preferred Skills & Experience
  • IPC certification a plus or ability to obtain certification in
J-STD-001
  • Soldering of connectors
  • Wiring & cable fabrication experience
  • Chassis wiring experience
  • Harness/cable building, electro-mechanical assembly
