Job Description
Job Title:
Assembler Join a growing manufacturing team where your attention to detail and hands-on skills make an impact. We are looking for reliable Assemblers to support the production of high-quality products in a fast-paced environment. We have openings on the Electrical Assembly team and with the Mechanical Assembly team. In this role, you'll work with tools, follow blueprints, and collaborate with a team focused on safety, efficiency, and continuous growth. Responsibilities Assemble components into finished products using blueprints, diagrams, and work orders Read and interpret schematics, drawings, bills of materials, and other technical documents Use hand tools, power tools, and torque wrenches to build and secure parts to specification Perform quality checks to ensure products are level, square, and meet required standards Inspect materials and components for defects (dents, scratches, alignment issues) before and during assembly Assemble electrical components such as switchboards, panelboards, and copper bussing per design specifications Conduct visual inspections and troubleshoot issues to identify and correct nonconforming partsSchedule:
There are two available shifts; Monday-Friday 7am-5pm OR Monday-Friday 5:30pm-3:30am. The minimum work week is 50 hours. There is overtime available. Most employees work 55-60 hours weekly. Mandatory overtime may be required on an as-needed basis, typically taking place on Saturdays. All hours over 40 hours worked in a week will be paid at 1.5x. steel-toed boots (employee provided), safety glasses (company provided) Structured onboarding with dedicated training during your first week before joining the production team Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hanover, MD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
