$18.82•$20.82 per hour
Hours:
First Shift:
Monday•Friday, 7:00 AM•3:45
PM Second Shift:
Monday•Thursday, 4:00 PM•3:00
AM Start Date:
ASAP As a Soldering Specialist, you'll be responsible for expertly hand-soldering electronic components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs), inspecting solder joints to meet IPC standards, and operating precision soldering equipment. Your work will directly impact the reliability and quality of our electronic products, supporting our commitment to excellence.
What You'll Do:
Solder electronic components onto PCBs using hand tools and soldering irons, ensuring precision and consistency. Inspect solder joints with microscopes and magnifiers to verify adherence to IPC and quality standards. Read and interpret detailed work instructions and process documentation to perform tasks accurately. Operate and maintain soldering stations and rework equipment efficiently. Identify, troubleshoot, and correct any assembly or soldering defects proactively to maintain high quality. Participate in ongoing training and certification efforts to stay current with industry standards and best practices.
What You'll Bring:
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
1-2 years of soldering or electronics assembly experience. Certification preferred (or willingness to recertify). Familiarity with
IPC-A-610
standards is a plus.
Skills:
Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail. Strong commitment to quality and safety. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic computer skills for following digital instructions. Good organizational and time management skills.
