Every project is different, which means every day brings new challenges, new builds, and new opportunities to use your skills. ๐Ÿ›  What You'll Do As a Mechanical Assembler, you will: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, assembly drawings, and work instructions Build modular steel cabinets and copper bus assemblies Measure, mark, and verify dimensions using tape measures and layout tools Gather materials, components, and hardware needed for production Use hand tools including: Wrenches Screwdrivers Pliers Hand saws Operate power tools including: Drills Impact tools Pneumatic torque wrenches Grinders Power saws Assemble components according to engineering specifications Perform quality inspections and verify completed work Follow safety and quality standards Collaborate with fabrication, welding, wiring, and production teams Help improve processes and contribute ideas for better efficiency ๐ŸŽฏ We're Looking For People Who Have Required Experience โœ” At least 2 years of experience in one of the following: Mechanical Assembly Machine Building Automotive Mechanics Heavy Equipment Assembly Manufacturing & Industrial Assembly Skilled Trades โœ” Experience reading blueprints, schematics, or assembly drawings โœ” Ability to use hand and power tools confidently โœ” Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills โœ” Ability to accurately read a tape measure โœ” Basic math skills including fractions and decimals โœ” Ability to communicate effectively in English โœ” Strong attention to quality, safety, and detail โญ Bonus Points If You Have Experience In Switchgear Manufacturing Electrical Assembly Industrial Equipment Building Construction or Carpentry Fabrication Shops Machine Shops Automotive Repair Welding Environments Custom Manufacturing Operations ๐ŸŒŸ What Makes This Opportunity Different? Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of St. Charles, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
