Open ended contract. Position Summary The Electrical Technician is responsible for constructing, wiring, inspecting, and verifying electrical control panels used in industrial machinery, automation systems, and electrical equipment. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Read, interpret, and apply electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings Build and assemble electrical control panels, junction boxes, and enclosures Mount electrical components including breakers, relays, PLCs, power supplies, terminal blocks, and drives Perform point-to-point wiring, labeling, and routing of wires and cables Ensure all wiring and assembly complies with NEC, UL, and FAC standards Conduct continuity checks, basic electrical testing, and visual inspections of panels Troubleshoot wiring errors and resolve issues prior to final testing Communicate effectively with engineering, supervisors, and quality personnel Meet daily manufacturing productivity and work schedule requirements Access and follow control plans, process documentation, specifications, and quality guidelines Perform quality inspections to verify workmanship and product compliance with FAC standards Ensure assembly and test results are complete and within defined ranges Properly care for and use FAC tooling and equipment in accordance with Tool Management procedures Maintain a clean and organized work environment using 5S principles Comply with all FANUC safety policies and procedures, including but not limited to: Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) Lockout/Tagout Robot Safety Risk Assessments Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Accurately complete work orders and related tasks in the ERP system Minimum Requirements1. Skills and Knowledge Strong written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non‑technical topics Knowledge of electrical and mechanical assemblies Ability to read and comprehend electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic documentation, prints, and schematics Proficient in the use of electrical and mechanical hand tools Working knowledge of safety procedures including MIOSHA regulations, lockout/tagout, hazardous materials, and fork truck safety Ability to work independently with a disciplined approach and minimal supervision Effective technical communication and documentation skills
