Main office is in Auburn Hills but must be able to work in Sterling Heights as well. Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Electrical Panel Builder / Panel Wire Technician to assemble, wire, and test industrial control panels and electrical systems used in custom automation equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience reading electrical schematics, assembling control panels, and performing point-to-point wiring in a manufacturing or automation environment. Responsibilities Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings. Assemble industrial control panels to UL and company standards. Mount and wire electrical components including PLCs, relays, contactors, circuit breakers, terminal blocks, HMIs, and power supplies. Perform point-to-point wiring and cable routing. Label wires and electrical components according to schematics. Drill, tap, and modify panel enclosures as needed. Perform continuity testing and verify proper wiring connections. Troubleshoot and correct wiring issues before shipment. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all company safety procedures and applicable electrical codes. Qualifications Previous experience building or wiring industrial control panels. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints. Experience with point-to-point wiring and electrical testing. Familiarity with PLCs, relays, contactors, HMIs, terminal blocks, circuit breakers, and power supplies. Ability to use hand and power tools for panel assembly. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work overtime as needed.

Pay:

$21.00 - $22.00 per hour
