Dexter,MI Job Summary We are looking for a Assembler to support manufacturing operations by performing hands-on assembly of electronic and mechanical components and subassemblies. The ideal candidate will have prior manufacturing or production assembly experience and be comfortable using hand and power tools while following detailed work instructions. Responsibilities Perform repetitive and non-repetitive assembly of electronic and mechanical components and subassemblies. Assemble products such as modules, boards, panels, frames, and cables according to specifications. Follow visual aids, diagrams, schematics, process flow sheets, and written or verbal instructions. Use hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures, and saws during assembly operations. Perform continuity checks and basic testing on work in process and completed assemblies.
Inspect assembled products to ensure they meet quality specifications. Disassemble, modify, rework, and reassemble products as needed.
Identify and report defects, equipment issues, or abnormalities during production. Set up and operate automatic or semi-automatic production equipment when required. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow established manufacturing, quality, and safety procedures. Qualifications Previous experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, or a similar hands-on environment. Experience using hand and/or power tools. Ability to read and follow assembly instructions, diagrams, and visual work instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to perform basic testing, inspection, and rework. Ability to work effectively in a production environment and follow standard procedures.
