Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Assembler-Hand Solder to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling electronic components and circuit boards with precision, utilizing hand soldering techniques and a variety of tools. Your expertise will ensure the production of high-quality electronic products, adhering to industry standards and safety protocols. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative projects and develop your skills in electronics assembly and soldering. Responsibilities Assemble electronic components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) following detailed schematics and technical drawings. Perform hand soldering on surface mount technology (SMT) and through-hole components, ensuring strong, reliable connections. Use precision measuring tools such as calipers and ohmmeters to verify component placement and electrical continuity. Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and IPC 610 standards for soldering quality and workmanship. Utilize power tools, hand tools, and machining equipment safely to prepare components and assemblies. Conduct visual inspections for quality control, ensuring compliance with IPC 610 standards for electronic assemblies. Maintain accurate documentation of assembly processes, test results, and quality checks throughout production. Skills Strong knowledge of PCB assembly processes. Proficiency in soldering methods with experience in hand soldering for electronic components. Familiarity with schematics, electrical wiring, and reading technical drawings. Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other machining equipment effectively. Knowledge of IPC 610 standards for electronic assembly quality assurance. Electrical experience including troubleshooting with ohmmeters and understanding electrical wiring principles.
