GENERAL SUMMARY
Responsible for assembling and wiring control panels according to electrical prints. We are looking for team members who have 3 or more years of Panel Build Experience including electrical wiring
EXPERIENCE OR TRAINING REQUIRED OR PREFERRED
Bi Lingual - English and Spanish Very Desirable High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Math and reading skills required. Able to utilize the internal EPR system required. Deep understanding of electrical processes preferred.
LICENSE OR CERTIFICATE REQUIRED
None required.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Assemble and wire control panels, operator stations, junction boxes by following specific blueprints. Must have a strong understanding of electrical processes. Ability to predetermine any problems that may come up and answer any questions with regard to the prints. Assembles or tests electrical components by means of sensitive hand & equipment coordination. Continuously strive to improve the quality and quantity of work produced. Receives components or items for assembly &/or test in programmed sequence. Assemble all variations of standard products, as well as complex custom products. Follow clear assembly/work/test instructions, e.g. color coding, NEC & UL codes/standards. Use simple hand or power tools along with complex jigs & fixtures. Enter work hours in ERP system (GSS). Drives continuous improvement process & conducts daily housekeeping/5S audits to ensure continuous improvement activities. Understands and has a working knowledge of basic electricity, the workings of electrical devices, and knowledge of basic machine shop practices

Make decisions related to the project in conjunction with the engineering group. Able to read and interpret electrical prints. Strong professional ethical values and integrity. Team player with drive and strong communication skills. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Mechanically inclined with great problem-solving skills. Demonstrates a positive "can-do" attitude. Takes responsibility for self-performance (Ability to manage time and responsibilities independently). Contributes to team effort by meeting expectations. Able to work variable and flexible hours including overtime with minimal supervision. Demonstrate and committed to regular and reliable attendance as well as punctuality.
