Job Description

A day in this role Start your shift in Wendell, NC by reviewing schematics, layouts, and wire lists for a new lineup of power distribution equipment. You'll route and terminate conductors with precision, apply correct stripping and crimping techniques, and use torque wrenches to spec. As builds progress, you'll assemble components on panels per drawings, handle large power cables safely, record job transactions, and collaborate with your team to improve processes while following all Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety practices. Schedule & Pay 1st

6:00 am - 2:30 pm 2nd
Shift:
3:00 pm - 11:30 pm
Hourly:
$20.36; additional $1.50/hour shift differential for 2nd shift
Note:
2nd shift roles train on 1st shift for approximately 1-2 months before moving to 2nd shift What you'll build Sub-assembly and final wiring for Low- and Medium-Voltage electrical distribution equipment, including switchgear, switchboards, and breakers. Where you'll shine Background in electrical assembly, panel wiring, switchgear/switchboard manufacturing, or electro-mechanical assembly in an industrial/OEM environment Comfort working from BOMs, layouts, and assembly drawings Not the focus Residential/commercial construction electrical work or low-voltage cabling (data/telecom) without panel wiring experience Basic qualifications 1+ year of experience in mechanical assembly or a related mechanical field 1+ years' experience with commercial or industrial wiring Basic English proficiency (read/write/speak) Ability to interpret schematic drawings, layouts, and wire lists with minimal supervision Hands-on experience with standard hand and power tools (including pneumatic and battery-operated), wiring tools, and accurate tape-measure reading Applicants must be legally authorized for employment within the United States without the need for current or future employer - sponsored work authorization.
