Job Description

Electrical Assembly Technician responsible for wiring, component installation, assembly, testing support, and production build activities using engineering documentation and wiring diagrams. Job Requirements Experience cutting, stripping, tinning, routing, and securing wires in electrical assemblies Experience assembling top-level and sub-level components using blueprints, OMS, and wiring diagrams Ability to read and follow engineering drawings, BOMs, wiring diagrams, and work instructions Experience verifying document revisions and implementing engineering changes Experience using hand tools and operating automated or semi-automated assembly equipment Experience installing electrical and mechanical components such as transformers, FETs, IGBTs, PCBs, heatsinks, fans, and hoses Experience performing light machining, including drilling, tapping, and reaming Experience performing basic electrical testing and pressure testing Experience supporting troubleshooting, teardown, rework, and repair activities Basic soldering experience, including touch-ups and connection repair Knowledge of ESD, PPE, and workplace safety procedures Preferred Skills Experience working from OMS documentation Experience in electrical or electromechanical assembly environments Experience supporting technicians with repair and troubleshooting processes Experience training new team members Experience identifying and escalating quality issues in a production setting Job Responsibilities Cut, strip, tin, route, and secure wires for electrical assemblies Assemble top-level and sub-level components according to blueprints, OMS, and wiring diagrams Read and interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, and work instructions Verify revisions and implement engineering changes during assembly Use hand tools and automated or semi-automated equipment to produce accurate assemblies Install electrical and mechanical components including transformers, FETs, IGBTs, PCBs, heatsinks, fans, and hoses Perform light machining operations such as drilling, tapping, and reaming Conduct basic electrical and pressure testing Support troubleshooting, teardown, rework, and repair activities with technicians Complete basic soldering and solder touch-ups Identify and escalate quality issues Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow ESD, PPE, and safety requirements
