Job Description

Manufacturing Assembler (Electrical) Job Summary The Manufacturing Assembler (Electrical) is responsible for assembling and wiring electrical panels and enclosures in a manufacturing environment as well as supporting installation activities at job sites when required. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to read engineering drawings and wiring diagrams, and a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Participate in all phases of the electrical panel manufacturing process. Read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics. Layout and mount electrical components onto panels. Wire electrical components according to diagrams and specifications. Install assembled panels into enclosures. Perform final wiring and system completion within enclosures. Support quality inspection activities and identify issues during the Quality Check process. Prepare completed systems for packaging and shipment. Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes, workflow efficiency, and product quality. Perform on-site wiring and mechanical/electrical installation work as required. Travel Requirements Local travel within approximately a 75-mile radius 12 times per month. Occasional out-of-town travel approximately 12 times every three months. Leadership & Oversight (As Needed) Contractor Coordination May coordinate and oversee work performed by outside contractors to ensure tasks are completed on schedule and in accordance with specifications and quality standards. Mentorship & Guidance Provide day-to-day support, guidance, and training to new team members. Assist in assigning tasks and reviewing work to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements. Performance & Compliance Support Assist in monitoring team performance and identifying training opportunities. Promote a safe, efficient, and collaborative work environment. Required Skills & Qualifications Experience with electrical assembly or similar manufacturing work preferred. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and wiring diagrams. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Commitment to safety, quality standards, and continuous improvement. Ability to use common hand tools (jigsaw, drill, tapping tools, wrenches, etc.). Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 4060 lbs. Ability to perform work requiring bending, reaching, and manual dexterity.
