$24.00 Send updated resume to kimartin@ aerotek.com for immediate consideration This role focuses on assembling precision components in accordance with detailed drawings and operation sheets, supporting the production of custom pyrotechnic and energetic devices. You will perform hands-on assembly, soldering, and packaging tasks while maintaining accurate production records and following strict safety and quality procedures. Assemble components accurately by following engineering drawings, blueprints, and operation sheets. Perform weighing, loading, and pressing operations to support production processes. Handle tooling and fixtures and use various hand tools to produce, adjust, or modify parts as required. Maintain accurate counts of parts and track order progress, including logging time and quantities for each job. Close and assemble units using crimping and closure tools, as well as epoxy applications, to meet product specifications. Perform soldering tasks such as small wire soldering, terminal soldering, and bridge wire welding in accordance with quality standards. Assist with the packaging of pyrotechnic assemblies while following established safety and handling procedures. Follow required company safety practices and adhere to all quality procedures throughout the production process. Lift and move materials and components weighing up to 50 pounds as part of daily production activities.Essential Skills:
Production assembly experience in a manufacturing or similar environment. Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and operation sheets. Hands-on experience with wire soldering, including small wire and terminal soldering. Experience using various hand tools, tooling, and fixtures to assemble or modify parts. Capability to perform weighing, loading, and pressing operations with attention to detail. Ability to use crimping and closure tools and apply epoxy in assembly processes. Strong attention to detail for maintaining counts, tracking order progress, and logging time and quantities accurately. Ability to follow established safety practices and quality procedures consistently. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds as part of routine job duties. Eligibility to work in compliance with ITAR requirements as a U.S. person or permanent resident. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stanhope, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
