Job Description:
Our Client, a leading name in the industry with a global presence, is currently seeking Electrical Assemblers for their state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Ballston Spa, NY. With a rich legacy of over 30,500 converters and 35,000 on-board systems installed in trains across 30 countries, Our Client continues to uphold its reputation by nurturing a team of talented individuals who are the backbone of our success.
Summary:
As an Electrical Assembler, you will play a crucial role in our production process, ensuring the accurate and safe assembly of electronic and mechanical components. Your attention to detail, adherence to manufacturing procedures, and ability to communicate effectively with engineers and supervisors are essential to maintaining our high-quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Assemble electronic and mechanical parts following established manufacturing procedures. Communicate deviations to engineers and supervisors promptly. Execute all quality policies and procedures to uphold our product standards. Receive cross training and actively participate in multiple projects as directed by supervisors. Maintain and care for all tools and equipment provided by the company. Ensure a clean and organized work area at all times. Report accidents in the workplace and document them as required.
Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and use fingers and hands to handle objects, tools, or controls. Coordination of multiple tasks simultaneously. Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Exposure to hot/cold temperatures and loud noises. Fluent English language skills (reading, understanding, speaking, and writing). Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude. Ability to meet assembly time requirements after completing the three-month training period. Reading and understanding mechanical and electrical drawings.
