Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Front Office Manager to lead our front desk operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences. In this vital role, you will oversee daily front office activities, ensure smooth check-in and check-out processes, and maintain high standards of customer service. Your leadership will foster a welcoming environment for guests, coordinate with various departments, and uphold hotel management procedures. Multilingual abilities and hotel management experience are highly valued to enhance guest relations and streamline operations across diverse clientele. Duties Supervise all front desk functions, including reservations, guest check-ins, and check-outs using property management systems such as OPERA or similar platforms. Lead and motivate front office staff to deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring adherence to phone etiquette and hospitality standards. Manage guest inquiries, resolve service issues promptly, and implement customer service problem-solving strategies to enhance guest satisfaction. Oversee the night audit process, ensuring accurate financial reconciliation and reporting at the end of each shift. Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to fulfill guest requests efficiently and uphold property standards. Enforce hotel emergency procedures, safety protocols, and ensure staff are trained in emergency response actions. Maintain detailed records of guest interactions, reservations, and operational logs to support seamless property management. Qualifications Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations with a strong understanding of hotel management systems such as OPERA or comparable PMS platforms. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages; bilingual or multilingual capabilities are preferred. Strong leadership qualities with experience supervising front office teams in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional phone communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette. Previous resort experience or working in a hotel environment with a focus on guest services is highly desirable.
