Thomas Electronics is seeking a detail-oriented PCB Assembler to join our Manufacturing team. This position is responsible for assembling printed circuit boards (PCBs), electronic assemblies, and related components while ensuring compliance with engineering drawings, work instructions, IPC workmanship standards, and customer specifications. The ideal candidate takes pride in producing high-quality work, possesses strong soldering skills, and enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where precision and attention to detail are essential. Essential Responsibilities Assemble printed circuit boards (PCBs), electronic assemblies, electrical panels, and subassemblies in accordance with engineering drawings, bills of materials, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation. Perform hand soldering of through-hole and surface mount components in accordance with IPC workmanship standards. Inspect assemblies throughout the manufacturing process to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications. Verify proper placement, orientation, and integration of electronic components. Perform compliance verification of components, assemblies, and systems to ensure electrical and mechanical requirements are met. Identify assembly defects and report nonconforming materials or workmanship. Utilize hand tools, soldering equipment, measuring devices, and inspection equipment safely and effectively. Maintain accurate production and quality documentation. Support continuous improvement initiatives by recommending process improvements that enhance quality, efficiency, and productivity. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following company safety policies. Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to resolve assembly issues and meet production schedules. Perform additional duties as assigned. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous manufacturing or electronics assembly experience required. Experience soldering electronic components using IPC workmanship standards. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, assembly instructions, and work orders. Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail. Ability to identify workmanship defects and perform visual inspections. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing effectively within a team environment. Strong organizational and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications
