Location:
East Setauket, NY Pay:
$23.55/hour
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30
PM Hours:
40 hours/week
Duration:
Contract through August 2027 About the Role Averro is hiring an Assembler Level 3P to support a high-complexity electronics and electromechanical manufacturing environment in East Setauket, NY. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced assembler with a strong background in electronic assembly, wiring, soldering, cable harnesses, and blueprint interpretation .
Responsibilities:
Perform a wide variety of electronic and electromechanical assembly operations on assemblies and subassemblies. Perform wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harness assembly . Follow established methods and sequences of operation while maintaining quality and production requirements. Set up and adjust tools and equipment while maintaining tolerances to blueprint specifications . Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and assembly instructions. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. 2+ years of related assembly experience preferred. Experience with electronic or electromechanical assembly . Hands-on soldering experience . Experience with wiring and/or cable harness assembly. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions . Comfortable working with hand tools and performing detailed assembly work.
