Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Soldering Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing precise soldering and assembly of electronic components, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities Execute soldering tasks on printed circuit boards (PCBs) using various hand tools and power tools, adhering to IPC 610 standards for quality and safety. Assemble electrical panels and electro-mechanical components following detailed blueprints and schematic diagrams. Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints to accurately assemble and wire complex systems. Utilize surface mount technology (SMT) techniques for precise component placement on PCBs. Conduct electrical testing using ohmmeters and other diagnostic tools to verify proper connections and functionality. Assist in troubleshooting engineering issues related to electrical assemblies and rectify defects through effective problem-solving. Maintain a clean, organized workspace ensuring compliance with safety protocols and manufacturing best practices. Experience Proven experience in electronics assembly, including soldering, wiring, and mechanical assembly within a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings. Hands-on knowledge of surface mount technology (SMT), PCB manufacturing processes, and electro-mechanical component integration. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment such as ohmmeters for quality assurance. Understanding of IPC 610 standards for electronic assemblies is highly desirable. Experience with electrical panel building, wiring harnesses, and troubleshooting complex systems is advantageous. Ability to follow detailed blueprint specifications accurately while maintaining high-quality standards.
