Aerospace Assembly Technician Mechanical/Electrical Systems Heath, OH $26.58 - $29.53/Hour U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law We are hiring an Aerospace Assembly Technician to support aerospace manufacturing, assembly, maintenance, troubleshooting, and testing activities. This role supports the disassembly, fabrication, modification, repair, validation, and verification of aerospace systems and components, including pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems. Candidates should have experience using hand or power tools, following work instructions, and performing hands-on mechanical or aerospace assembly tasks. This position requires the ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift and willingness to work with beryllium and/or other chemicals as needed.
Responsibilities:
Assist with disassembly of aerospace systems and components to correct failures or implement modifications. Perform basic troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems to isolate faults and support component repairs. Perform validation and verification testing of aerospace systems and components. Fabricate and modify aerospace products according to specifications and work instructions. Support the safe handling of aerospace vehicles, including jacking, towing, and system operations. Perform assigned aerospace assembly, maintenance, testing, and modification tasks under supervision.Qualifications:
Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance post-start. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent basic education. 1+ years of experience working with tools and following work instructions. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications. Willingness to work with beryllium and/or other chemicals as needed. Ability to work off-shift schedules, including 2nd or 3rd shiftPreferred Qualifications:
Experience inspecting parts, components, assemblies, or units. 1+ years of soldering and equipment component assembly experience. 1+ years of experience using handheld and/or power tools. Ability to read and understand basic engineering drawings and specifications. 1+ years of experience performing work under a microscope.
