  • Must-Have RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED2 years of electronic or electromechanical experience preferredAviation Technology program graduates consideredSoldering experienceExperience with electronic board repair and assembly/disassembly of mechanical componentsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, prints, schematics, and wiring diagramsExperience reading and interpreting technical manuals and maintenance documentationAbility to use industry-standard electronic test equipmentBasic math skillsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to pass requirements for a DOT/FAA safety-sensitive positionElectronic Assembler•Aerospace Bench Technician•Position SummaryThe Electronic Assembler•Aerospace Bench Technician performs component-level troubleshooting, testing, repair, and reassembly of complex aviation electronic and electromechanical components.

This position requires strong soldering skills, the ability to interpret technical documentation, and hands-on experience working with electronic and mechanical components. The technician will work with specialized test equipment to diagnose and repair aviation components to established specifications. Electronic Assembler

  • Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret engineering drawings, prints, schematics, and wiring diagramsRead and follow maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and technical documentationPerform soldering and electronic board repairTest aviation electronic and electromechanical componentsTroubleshoot component-level electrical and electronic issuesDisassemble components for inspection and repairInspect components for defects, damage, and wearRepair and replace electronic and mechanical components as requiredReassemble components following technical specificationsUse multimeters, oscilloscopes, frequency generators, counters, and other electronic test equipmentLearn and properly utilize specialized test equipmentMaintain accurate and organized work practicesFollow all safety, quality, and company proceduresPerform other duties as assignedElectronic Assembler•Aerospace Bench Technician•Additional QualificationsExperience in aerospace, aviation, electronics, or electromechanical repair preferredAviation Technology training is a plusStrong attention to detailGood mechanical and electrical aptitudeAbility to troubleshoot practical problemsAbility to follow written, verbal, diagrammed, and scheduled instructionsAbility to communicate effectively in writing and verballyComfortable working independently and as part of a teamPhysical RequirementsStand and walk for extended periodsFrequently bend and squatFrequently use hands for handling, assembly, and precision workReach with hands and armsOccasionally lift and move up to 20 lbs.
