- This role focuses on full product builds of sensor units using pre-fabricated materials in a calm, quiet, and clean production environment.
You will assemble small electronic and mechanical components by following detailed work instructions on an iPad, using hand tools and power tools to complete mechanical assembly, soldering, wiring, and packaging tasks. The standard schedule is a day shift, Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with the possibility of an adjusted 5:00 am to 2:30 pm shift and occasional Saturday morning hours from 6:00 am to 11:00 am when business needs require.
- Responsibilities
- + Perform full product builds of sensor assemblies from pre-fabricated materials, ensuring accuracy and consistency in each build.
+ Read and follow detailed work instructions on an iPad in English to assemble individual components and complete assigned tasks.
+ Carry out mechanical assembly of product shells, boxes, and related housings using appropriate tools and techniques.
+ Conduct soldering and wire bonding tasks on small electronic components, following established quality and safety standards.
+ Assist with electronic assembly work, including wiring, PCB-related tasks, and basic electrical assembly as needed.
+ Use small hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform assembly, fastening, and adjustment operations.
+ Package finished products according to specified procedures, ensuring correct labeling, protection, and presentation for shipment.
+ Perform basic inspection and quality checks on assembled parts and finished products to verify they meet specifications.
+ Follow production safety standards at all times, including proper use of tools, equipment, and personal protective practices.
+ Collaborate effectively in a team environment, communicating clearly with coworkers and supporting smooth production flow.
+ Maintain a strong sense of urgency and productivity to meet daily and weekly production goals and timelines.
+ Stand for the duration of the shift when required, and work in both standing and seated areas depending on assignment.
+ Adhere to line-based production processes, including working at a consistent pace and following standardized workflows.
+ Refer to blueprints, schematics, and written instructions when needed to understand assembly steps and product requirements.
+ Support general production tasks as assigned, contributing to a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
- Essential Skills
- + Previous production experience in a manufacturing or similar environment, with an understanding of production flow and meeting output targets.
+ Ability to use hand tools confidently and safely for mechanical and assembly tasks.
+ Demonstrated strong sense of urgency and ability to work at a steady, efficient pace throughout the shift.
+ Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with mechanical components, fasteners, and assemblies.
+ Ability to read and follow work instructions in English, including step-by-step procedures on an iPad.
+ Ability to stand for the entire shift when required, with flexibility to work in both standing and seated stations.
+ Comfort working in a line-based production environment with repetitive tasks and standardized processes.
+ Basic understanding of general production practices, safety protocols, and quality expectations.
- Additional Skills & Qualifications
- + Experience with small parts assembly, particularly in electronics or precision mechanical work.
+ Prior assembly experience, including mechanical assembly or electronic assembly of products or subassemblies.
+ Soldering experience, including basic soldering on small components and electrical connections.
+ Exposure to SMT (Surface Mount Technology) machine operation or related PCB manufacturing processes.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, or simple technical drawings for assembly guidance.
+ Experience performing quality inspection on parts or finished products to verify adherence to specifications.
+ Familiarity with electrical wiring, basic electrical assembly, and PCB-related tasks.
+ Comfort working overtime, including up to 1015 hours per week when needed to support production demands.

- Work Environment
- The role is based in a line-based production facility that is very clean, calm, quiet, and spacious, providing a comfortable and organized setting for focused work.
You will work primarily on the day shift, Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with the possibility of an earlier 5:00 am start and occasional Saturday morning shifts from 6:00 am to 11:00 am when needed. The environment involves standing for much of the shift, though some areas offer seated work depending on the station. Work is guided by iPad-based instructions and standardized processes, and you will regularly use small hand tools, power tools, and production equipment related to mechanical and electronic assembly. The facility operates with clear safety and production standards, offering a structured, predictable, and well-maintained workplace.

- Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $18.
00 - $18.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
