Electromechanical Technician

Job Title:

Electromechanical Technician Job Description As an Electromechanical Technician, you will be responsible for building electro-mechanical assemblies used in the Aerospace and Defense sectors. You will work within IPC 620 and IPC 610 standards, and if not currently or previously certified, you must demonstrate knowledge equivalent to certification to eventually get certified and perform work on the product. Responsibilities Build electromechanical systems and harness wire assemblies. Work with PCB boards, conduct testing, troubleshooting, and read schematics and blueprints. Construct complex harnesses independently from start to finish. Solder and rework components using engineered electrical drawings to IPC standards. Engage in product assembly and testing for New Product Introduction (NPI) and prototyping. Operate within a documentation system, analyze workflow from others, and document performed workflow. Essential Skills Experience in mechanical troubleshooting and building electro-mechanical assemblies. Knowledge of IPC 620 and IPC 610 standards. Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints. Experience with soldering and reworking components. Experience in product assembly and testing for NPI and prototyping. Proficiency in documentation and analyzing workflow. Additional Skills & Qualifications Current or previous certification in IPC 610-A or 620-A. High School Diploma. Knowledge of LEAN Six Sigma or 5S methodologies. Experience in a production and engineering environment, particularly ITAR and Aerospace. Why Work Here?
